The Microsoft Store is getting new apps with updates.
Hi everyone, after installing Windows 11 there were lots of updates to come after pressing 'Get Updates'. It was a bit strange because it kept saying 'try again' for most apps, even though the list showed no apps installed. As soon as I closed Microsoft Store and restarted my computer, all the apps looked installed properly. Am I right in thinking that sometimes the look on Microsoft Store gets glitchy? I think this has happened to other devices too when setting them up before.
I just looked at my laptop's history and logs, and they don't list it there either. But on other computers, I see updates from the first day to Microsoft Store in their history. I'm wondering if the apps updated like notepad did with auto save, but why isn't that showing up? Maybe because the update said retry and the apps just installed themselves without attaching a log? What should we do? Thanks a lot!
I don't like checking my own reliability history because every time I do, I find errors that were actually happy to ignore. They only happen once and then boom, a blue line drops showing one program crashed. The most recent problem was printer drivers failing to update today. Joy... you could look in the Event Viewer instead; everything listed there also appears on my reliability history page. I'm not sure why it wouldn't show up there either. Does it show in Windows Update? Not every update gets listed on that history page, too. The two OCUK links require me to log on just to see them.
