The mic broke in the game.
I was playing Warzone 2 when my microphone stopped working for voice chat in the middle of a match. I tried using the test game on MW2 settings but nothing came up at all. The mic works fine in other games and apps, though. I did everything I could to fix it like resetting settings, checking which one is selected, and reinstalling drivers. Still no answer from Activision yet. Any tips?
Hey there, Chipset driver up to date too? What about the BIOS? Which BIOS are you running? Oh, it looks like you're on F13. I'd suggest updating to F15E because version 1.2.0.3 has some known bugs. The newer bios will also stop that stuttering fTPM problem. But you might or might not be seeing those issues.
I fixed my computer settings, but I still don't hear music when playing MW2.
There are some stories about getting banned from the Voice Chat on MWII. I don't chat a lot online and never do bad things in voice chats anyway. So I looked into it and found out no one has ever been banned by Activision for this reason. Do you have other questions?
I fixed my CMOS settings. The microphone is working for all things else. I had two team meetings yesterday with the mic. It works in Division 2 and other games. This happened before and after the BIOS update. The mic stopped playing mid-game of MWII and Activision said i am not voice banned.
The privacy rules say MW2 didn't have access to your microphone since November 30th. That's when things stopped working. Does this help you figure out what happened?
