Hi Guys,
I have a mechanical keyboard that's been around for about two years. Sometimes when I press the W key while playing games, especially when holding it for a few seconds, it jumps or stutters. It seems like if I hold W for 10 seconds, it might stop after a short delay—like just a few milliseconds—and then register as multiple smaller holds instead of one long press. I'm not sure why this happens, but all other keys are working fine.

What is the make and model of the keyboard?
Does the W jumping action happen when a different functional keyboard is connected to your computer?
Does the W jumping action appear if your keyboard is operated on another functional computer?
Identify whether the issue is related to your keyboard or remains tied to the computer.
= = = =
Have you attempted cleaning the keyboard and its keys according to the manufacturer's instructions?
It might be that a key is worn or damaged, particularly if used for intensive gaming.
An immediate solution you can try:
Disconnect the keyboard, place a cloth or paper towel underneath, and gently tap the keyboard upside down with the heel of your hand. This can help dislodge debris and possibly free the W key.
You may also have the chance to remove the W key cap for a more thorough clean.

It's a Motospeed Mechanical keyboard, CK104 with Blue Switch (Clicky). It only responds to the W key regardless of other button activity. This issue occurs on all computers, so I suspect it might be a contact problem or a solder breakage. I plan to clean it. I also tried blowing air into the switch, possibly to remove dust, but since I play games often, that might not be the main cause.
