The maximum speed of my DDR4 3000 MHz RAM reaches 2400 MHz
I have two 3000mhz DDR4 RAM modules and an i5-9400f on a H310M Pro-VDH board. When I attempt to increase the RAM speed beyond 2400, the system won’t boot. Although the chip supports up to 2666 MHz, even setting it to 2666 still doesn’t get me started. I’m just starting out with overclocking and would really appreciate any advice.
With one stick, one might break. Place it in the right slot. If that doesn’t work, try using the other one.
The motherboard supports a 2666mhz frequency, which makes me uncertain about any potential issues.
