The main display shows black unexpectedly!
I own a 3-monitor configuration; the primary screen is an Acer Nitro XV272U Vbmooprx 27-inch 1440p model. It occasionally blacks unexpectedly during intense gaming sessions, lasting up to three seconds. This happens consistently in high-demand titles and more often in less demanding ones when using an EVGA 1070 graphics card. I can’t adjust the monitor settings myself.
My attempts to resolve the problem include swapping the display cable, disabling sleep timers on my PC, updating and reinstalling graphics drivers multiple times, removing all existing drivers and reinserting the cable into different ports on the card, and even testing with a friend’s monitor. At this stage, I’m leaning toward either the monitor or the graphics card being the culprit. This is quite unusual, so I’m hoping someone has faced a similar situation and shared their solution.
Experienced a comparable problem with my Rx 480 around ten months prior; it was related to the driver and resolved in the subsequent driver update.
