The MacBook Air is capturing desktop sound.
You're experiencing audio bleed through your headphone mic while using Discord, Skype, and other apps on your MacBook Air. It seems like the desktop sound is getting picked up by the microphone. You've checked online solutions but haven't found a clear fix. This could be due to the microphone being too close to the speakers or the audio routing settings. Try adjusting the position of your headphones or checking if other apps are using the same mic. If the issue persists, consider testing with a different device or contacting Apple Support for further assistance.
It's unusual since macOS lacks a built-in method to record desktop audio for such applications. Launching Audio MIDI Setup would reveal the audio devices available and their settings for Discord.
I see you’ve got multiple Sunflower (which records desktop audio) aggregate devices installed. One particular with 64 ins/outs. You’ve also got a rekorbox aggregate device in there too. The reason you would be getting desktop audio and mic audio is that somewhere in those aggregate devices, one of your Mics got thrown in. It it looks like you do some Music production and of course I’m not familiar with your setup, so you’ll have to go through your aggregate devices and see which ones involve the mic and Sunflower and remove it.
