You recently received your gigabyte B550 Elite AX V2 and everything seems to be functioning except for inserting the second SSD. The M.2 heatsink appears to be stuck, making it difficult to place. I'm unsure if the issue is permanent. I've used a standard Philips screwdriver and two identical watchmaker Phillips tools, but none worked. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It might be from another discussion. Gently wrap a rubber band around the next larger Philips screwdriver tip, then apply more pressure while attempting to remove the screw.

I managed to use a bigger screwdriver and it functioned well.
