The Logitech G110 audio/mic jacks changed their positions unexpectedly.
As mentioned in the title, today while checking the web, my audio stopped working but the PC still recognized the speakers; however, no sound remained (the Windows audio mixer kept activating even when I adjusted the volume). After some troubleshooting, I disconnected the headphones from the audio port and connected them to the mic port on my G110, and audio returned. What happened? Is my old keyboard failing or is there an issue with the sound card? Everything else seems normal. Lights, G-keys, keystrokes, numpad, etc.
Verify if your motherboard requires any BIOS updates. Remove the Logitech G application from your system and also delete the keyboard entry in Device Manager, ensuring you're using Windows 10. What are the specifications of your earbuds?
I'm using Windows 10. Also attempted rebooting my PC but it's still the same. Skullcandy Ink'd 2.0 earbuds. Never experienced this issue before and have used this keyboard for over 8 years. I suspect it might not be a BIOS problem and the gaming software doesn't heavily use the keyboard except for macro buttons. Could I try changing the USB ports?
