I've been attempting to get my headset mic to function for extended periods now, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. It could be that it's completely dead, and I'm at my last effort. I've tried almost everything available online—uninstalling in the device manager, using the control panel, removing the Logitech G hub, installing the Logitech gaming software, updating drivers, updating Windows, updating the G hub. I've also checked all my cables and connections, so I feel like I have no further options left.
Hope y'all can assist me,
Thanks

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! I've experimented with almost everything.
The headset you have is an analog model paired with an inline USB sound card. Does the headset's audio and microphone function without that USB card when connected to an analog output, using or without the splitter? Can it operate on a donor system?
For reference, please share your motherboard make and model, the BIOS version you're using, and the operating system.

Thanks for answering, I really appreciate it! So I really debated on wether or not I should answer or not but since you were trying to be helpful and I was a complete idiot here's the end of the story for you and yes don't worry laugh as much as you want.
The mute switch that's on the headset cable was on.

You could be surprised by the number of individuals who have done this and haven't shared us!
