Sure, the window highlight feature works fine. I'm curious though—why do you find it so dull even when you need it?

I do this by opening the image... right-click... "Set as"... then "Background and lockscreen" always works, I haven't tried other options ("Browse..."...). Later you can repeat the process for the background picture, just select --> "Set as background". Yw!

You're having trouble accessing the set as background and lock screen. Your attempt used the file "8mb.video-Wi7-brQVb1q5.mp4". Try checking the file format, location, or permissions.
