Someone has financial resources. Spent a moment looking for guidance. Consider disconnecting all cables, switching to another USB port, and verifying the Corsair Link firmware is current.

Seemed like a mix of admiration and envy. I hope the person behind it realized what they did.

Hello, I see you're using Windows 8.1, which might have trouble recognizing the hardware. Consider removing Corsair Link software, restarting your system, and installing the beta version from the official forums at http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=118618. This should resolve the issue. I've faced the same problem recently as well.

Thanks, I’ll give it a shot. Now I need to open my case, switch or reconnect the USB header, restart, and update the firmware each time I turn on my computer.
