I was just browsing the web and then the screen went black and the laptop stopped working. It won’t turn on with the power button. There are no lights at all, not even the amber or white indicator when I connect the charger. I unplugged and plugged it back in, changed the main battery and CMOS, tried the reset button, but nothing works. No sound or lights come from anything. I used two different power adapters that are fine. This hasn’t happened before. I haven’t done any software updates, hardware changes, or overclocking. Any suggestions? Is this device beyond repair? Disconnect all USB, HDMI, and power cables from your device. Insert a straightened paperclip into the Emergency Reset slot as indicated. You’ll notice a button press when you do this. Keep it pressed for 30 seconds to fully shut down the device. Reconnect the power adapter and turn the power button on again; it should start up normally.
