The latest update on Monterey affected my MacBook Pro.
I updated my MB Pro to the new Monterey model recently. I own a 2019 13" Base Macbook Pro with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. It was connected to its charger, restarted after the system asked for a reboot, and then shut down completely—showing the Apple logo and loading bar, followed by a power-off. The fans aren’t spinning, the screen won’t turn on, and there’s no power indicator. I’ve tried forcing it to boot by holding the power button for 10–20 seconds, resetting the NVRAM, unplugging the adapter, pressing Shift + Control + Option + Power for 10 seconds, then reconnecting and trying again. Still nothing works. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
It occurred last year when individuals moved to Big Sur, and similar issues are emerging this year. Earlier this year, BridgeOS and the T2 faced problems—especially for John from ATP. Restoring is possible, but you’ll need a second Mac.
