Today I received the update. I haven’t played GTA in a while—I remember it ran smoothly at 60 FPS, which is why I got an I5. Now the frames drop to just 20... ***amazing*** It happens every ten minutes and it’s super frustrating. I changed the settings back to normal, but it still happens again. COCKSTAR, please stop updating, because every update seems to make things worse!

Do you have Crimson driver installed? Consider deleting ShaderCache.

I'm trying it out, but GTA V just crashed... I'm having a mental breakdown.

GTA 5 can be tricky for me, especially with v sync enabled. I've tried it on three different AMD graphics cards, but I still experience stuttering. I'm planning a fresh install on my SSD soon.

I spent the whole night gaming and everything worked perfectly at 100%. Personally, it’s improved more with each update. Now I’m setting all graphics to full power at 1440p, except for the vegetation which is still a bit low. I’m using FXAA and advanced settings, but it’s still smooth—around 90 FPS on average, which is actually quite solid. It runs butter-smooth and looks great.

Following the Yatch update in December, my frame rate decreased as well, but after checking for graphic driver updates I found one pending... (I hadn't updated my drivers since the Windows 10 release). Now it seems to work properly again.

This involves both AMD and NVidia issues. I started GTA, used ALt + Enter for full screen, and it crashed. It’s frustrating—I know others might feel the same. You’re not alone in this.

It's really frustrating... GTA V isn't running well anymore. Each update seems to make things worse! I'm worried about getting Fury X soon if the frame rate drops even slightly. I'm willing to pay someone to overload the site just to stop it!
