You can update your Asus A7V600-x BIOS by placing the USB file on a CD or DVD and using the BIOS setup utility that appears during boot. The activity indicator should guide you through the process. Restarting with the Esc key works, but if it doesn’t, ensure the correct BIOS version is selected. No need for the file on a USB stick alone unless you’re using a recovery tool.
