The latest BIOS reduced my NVME temperature.
It appears the recent BIOS update has significantly improved the NVME drive performance. Previously, temperatures stayed around 52°C during normal use, but now they drop to 40°C after the update. It seems the older settings were causing the drive to work harder and generate more heat. I haven’t adjusted any cooling components or changed fan speeds. Your observation is interesting—thank you for sharing!
It might be a software update or a misinterpretation of data. I’d test another monitoring tool to verify. If the drop exceeded 10 points, that would be impressive.
I verified using HWINFO and HWMonitor. These are the sole tools I use for system monitoring right now. The Western Digital firmware for the drive and the two additional monitoring apps both report 40*C.
