New installation and all the videos suggest updating your bios. I tend to keep everything current, so the BIOS update seemed like a good idea.
Sorry to hear that, just wanted to confirm as I usually expect it to function. Going to assume you've already checked the reinstall video, but have you tried similar approaches for the current version? Or are there other options available here? No problem with that—no reason to worry, I wouldn’t blame you if this wasn’t your issue.
Have you attempted to load the files on a different drive? Perhaps using an SSD could help.
I don’t have Windows at all, everything on my drives is blank and unformatted right away after launching Windows 10 64-bit. There’s no way to pick which drive to install Windows on.
Some forum members suggested a possible drive connection issue. They recommended checking or replacing the SATA cable and testing data transfer on another SATA controller or port. Files may get corrupted during storage transfers, so problems could stem from the drive, cable, or even power connections that cause frequent interruptions. Running a bugcheck suberror code might help, though it likely points to an I/O error. My approach is to remove all drives—including the M.2—and install the SSD using a different port before trying Windows. If that fails, it could indicate an issue with your installation USB drive. I usually use Rufus to generate bootable drives.
