Hi, I recently installed my new AM5 PC and encountered some problems. The main concern is the red CPU and DRAM warning lights on the motherboard. I’m using a 7800X3D processor and two 16GB Kingston Fury Beast modules (6000Mhz). The RAM appears compatible with the NZXT N7 B650e board, but there seems to be an issue. I followed the installation guide and placed the RAM in slots B2 and A2, but it didn’t work. I’m worried the RAM might be triggering the CPU light, which I noticed after buying it in America. The GPU is working fine, but the front IO ports on the case aren’t responding. I’ve connected the USBs, but I’m unsure if they’ll function after the PC boots up. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Checked if the RAM is fully seated and listened for a clicking noise. If both conditions are met, tested one stick at a time across various slots.

I’m confident the RAM is set up properly. I applied consistent force on both sides until a click was heard and the small lever returned to its original position. I plan to replace the RAM sticks once I wake up, as it’s currently 3 a.m. in the UK. Do you think the RAM might trigger the CPU light, or is this a separate problem?

I believed the board indicated a RAM problem, as I saw it in your message. If the CPU light is on, have you confirmed the board BIOS supports 7800X3D?

The board includes a BIOS flashback feature to refresh the BIOS without using the CPU. Refer to this manual for instructions.

I changed the bios using that method, yet both the CPU and DRAM indicators remain active. That suggests there may be an issue with the hardware itself.

I discovered my motherboard might be faulty. Frequent problems stem from not updating the BIOS to the latest release, which prevents the CPU from being recognized. Have you made any updates?
