I have a Canon LBP6030w Lase Printer. I'm trying to print a photo with a gray background, but the gray isn't coming out solid—it's showing up as two-inch wide streaks or light lines. The toner level seems normal, so I'm not sure what to do. I'm using Adobe Photoshop and would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Yes, it prints fine, but this is a print of one of my photos. Usually I just use the printer for text and coloring sheets for my students. I do recall I had this problem a few years ago but I can't remember now how I fixed it. Other photos have the same problem with light gray backgrounds. Thanks. This is a monotone laser printer.

Assess whether the scan can be corrected for optimal printing. Expect some experimentation required. Pay attention to formats, file types, etc. Ensure you retain the photo's original colors, background, and texture without significant loss.
I changed to a different printer but it never functioned properly. I believe it wasn't designed for that. Thanks.
