TL;DR: After restarting the laptop, the GPU isn't idling well anymore. Temperatures stay high without plugging in or unplugging, and even after a reboot, they spike when using anything beyond light tasks. This was until about a month ago when I noticed louder fans and higher idle temps. Using NitroSense revealed the problem—idle temps jumped to over 65°C, forcing fans above 3000 RPM. I tried reinstalling Windows, disabling hardware acceleration, changing GPU settings, and adjusting power management, but nothing fixed it. Sometimes opening games or Chrome causes the GPU to stay on. The issue seems linked to how Windows handles power after a reset.
