I might consider it, but what are the potential outcomes of doing that? As I referenced in my response to Takahashi.

I attempted to tidy it up as much as possible, but from what I can see, there’s not much to share. Perhaps getting it open would be the best option, since others here seem to think so.

it is no longer covered by warranty, so I assume I can open it, but doing so risks losing any remaining functionality. This is my first attempt at this. I’ll update the thread later when I reach a decision, thanks.

The bearing is no longer functioning properly. It reaches a specific speed before beginning to vibrate and lose momentum. You’ll hear loud, crunching noises as the shaft shakes and impacts the housing. Those fans look very inexpensive. Take it apart, locate the fan’s model number (likely on the hub) and purchase a new one.

This seems like a likely cause, but since my laptop is almost three years old and I intend to replace it soon, I won’t spend much on fixing this now. It still needs to work for a few months. Are there any short-term solutions like lubricating or cleaning the bearing?

Oil won't make much difference. The real solution is replacing the fan. Based on what I've seen, they're not costly—usually between 10 to 20€, or even less if you spot a good aftermarket option.
