Hi
I purchased an ASUS G752 17.3" Intel Core i7 Windows 10 32GB RAM 1000GB Gaming Laptop in silver. At first it functioned properly. After the warranty expired, it began shutting down unexpectedly. It started with Windows, then I switched to Linux, but both versions didn’t help. Now it’s running Windows 11, yet it still powers off without reason. The battery is completely dead, so it won’t allow me to update the BIOS—it says I need at least 40% charge. Do you have any suggestions on how to stabilize this laptop? Any ideas would be appreciated.

The most recent time you performed an internal clean was not specified, but it appears to be some time ago. Over the years, the fins on the heatsink have become clogged, leading to increased temperatures. At around 6-7 years old, it is likely time for a thorough cleaning and possibly re-paste.
