The laptop starts up using the HDD, yet fails to boot from a CD or a bootable USB drive.
I'm trying to find a way to fix an issue with my old HP-15 laptop. It won't boot from a thumb drive anymore, even though it did before I changed the BIOS versions. Now it only boots from the internal hard drive and not from the CD or USB. I've checked the boot order in the EUFI settings and tried different configurations, but nothing works. The BIOS version V13 is no longer available, and I can't contact HP support since the device isn't supported anymore. I'm looking for a solution or an alternative that could help restore the ability to choose which device to boot from. Any advice would be appreciated.
Check the files on the USB and CD drives using the file manager.
