Hello there! My laptop is an Acer Aspire 3 A315-53-389V.
About a year ago it wouldn’t turn on and I couldn’t find a solution, so I just left it alone until today.
Today I turned it on and it started working, but after a few minutes it shut off suddenly, restarted, and then kept shutting off and turning back on...
I checked the battery and power cord—they’re fine—and the laptop isn’t overheating when touched. The HDD is also functioning properly. I haven’t tested the other components yet.
What I noticed was that the laptop would start but go black after about 2 seconds before restarting again.
I also saw a thread about this issue, but it doesn’t mention any solutions.
It says the problem is speedstep, but I’m not sure how to fix it.
Do you guys know how to resolve this?

Well, it looks like the fan didn't function properly and the CPU got too hot.
