I recently purchased an Acer Nitro 5 (AMD Ryzen 5, 3060 RTX, 32GB RAM) and I’m unsure if the high-pitch sound was always present. The computer works well and handles games smoothly even at top settings. As a newcomer to PCs, I want to confirm that the fan synchronization frequency won’t cause any issues.

Pretty sure that is coil whine. Happens quite badly on my work laptop as well. There aint much you can do to get rid of coil whine sadly.

The sound isn't bothersome; I just needed to confirm it doesn't signal any issues

The coil whine is just a minor annoyance.

It seems your gaming laptop is quite sensitive to noise. When idle, it makes a lot of sound, but when running tasks, the noise disappears. Under heavy use, you still don’t pick up any sound.

You're dealing with a fanless Chromebook that makes coil whine audible. It might also hint at poor internal components, though the sound could simply reflect its design.
