Hello. Today I started my laptop and it launched directly to this display (I’ll include a photo later). Before, after using it, everything worked fine and no updates were applied. No matter how often I power it off or wait, nothing appears to improve. Someone has any suggestions on what might be wrong and how to resolve it? Appreciate it!

What laptop are you using? If you don't share, we can't determine that. How long have you been using it? Does your computer's BIOS include system scanning features? Certain laptops come with tools that check for issues in the hard drive or SSD, or other parts. You might see a brief popup when you turn it on for the first time.

My mistake! Your laptop is an Asus VivoBook Pro 15 N580VD. You’re having trouble locating similar tools in your BIOS—no alerts, just the boot screen.

Interrupting the boot process three times consecutively often forces a shutdown and brings you to the recovery screen. There, you might attempt safe mode and remove recent updates.
