Last night, my laptop suddenly stopped showing any display and froze completely. The power button doesn’t respond, and after holding it for 20 to 30 seconds the keyboard lights flash rapidly on and off while the screen turns on and then back off. I’ve tried several fixes: connecting it to an external monitor, removing the battery and using only the power cord, moving the RAM and attempting to boot without it. Still nothing works. It’s a Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED, and it just happened without warning. I’ve been using the SSD from another laptop without resetting it, but I’m not sure that would impact the BIOS. Also, turning off the laptop required completely cutting off power. Any advice would be greatly appreciated since I just purchased this from a friend last month.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Have you disconnected the internal battery and power adapter/brick/wall outlet? Did you press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to remove any leftover power from the laptop? Please use an eraser to clean the gold contacts on the RAM sticks, ensuring they are free of lint, and then reinsert the RAM in its proper slots. If your motherboard BIOS seems faulty, you might need to desolder the chip, use a CH341A BIOS tool to reprogram it, or replace and solder it back in. Based on what you’ve shared, it doesn’t appear to be a BIOS problem but rather a power delivery concern. You can include a video of your setup here; the host posted it on Imgur and shared a link for us to review.

Hello,
Yes, last night I disconnected everything, held the button down for about 2-3 minutes and let it sit overnight. Came back this morning, held it down for another minute or so and then plugged in the power to see if I would get anything different. I've tried booting it with ram, without it, moving it around, pretty much just different things to see if that would change anything last night and still had no difference. Here's the video of what it's doing.
