The laptop's specs show it has an Intel Celeron N3350 processor, Intel HD Graphics 500, 2GB DDR3L RAM, and a 500GB hard drive. The charger is faulty after three years, and the environment in your new house is very humid, causing mold to spread quickly. After moving to a better place, you replaced the charger but noticed issues: the charging light is on, the fan runs, but the hard drive isn’t spinning. When you press power, you hear a faint high-pitched noise initially, then silence afterward. You’re concerned about damage from moisture and think the hard drive might be broken. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your English?

Check the laptop for signs of rust. Avoid connecting it unless you think it might be wet. Take out the hard drive and use it elsewhere.

No, the laptop can still be saved if you have the correct file or data available.

The exterior appearance suggests the laptop might be damaged inside, possibly burnt. You could try opening it to access the drive and see if it’s salvageable. For similar models, you can find affordable options online. If you need detailed information about the motherboard, a photo would help. This is likely worth your time if you’re looking for a budget-friendly alternative.

I'm having trouble opening the laptop since I don't have a screwdriver, and the charging light is flashing now.

Do not connect it unless it’s already cooked. You’ve already done that. The only solution is to open it up, as there’s no alternative. Retrieving the information will be impossible otherwise.
