I have an HP Elitebook 8560w that’s behaving oddly. When I attempt to install various Linux distributions, it seems to treat the system as if no OS is present after installation. I’ve tried different things: switching SSDs, using main HDD and upgrade bay, using DVD and thumb drives, installing from USB 2/3, and even using Rufus and Etcher. I also reset the BIOS settings and security features. Despite these efforts, it still boots into Windows 11 without issues.

Is it correct that the system functions as anticipated?
Have you attempted to initiate a boot using only the OS drive?
Did you consider manually choosing the boot source (check the motherboard manual for keyboard shortcuts or see it on the screen)?
And have you explored disabling secure boot in BIOS?

It's worth noting that this device lacks secure boot functionality, and UEFI support is still in development.
