Occasionally when I power up the laptop, it briefly illuminates for a moment (just the keyboard lights, not the screen), and then turns off. The next time it starts, it works properly. This has been happening with my 7-year-old machine. Could it be related to the battery? TY!

For pc enthusiasts, access the rear compartment, reposition the memory or swap it with different slots. If you're unable to handle it yourself, consider hiring a technician. This issue occurred with my laptop, so I replaced the memory and adjusted the slots—it resolved the problem. If it doesn't fix it, the battery or other components might be the cause.
