I have a laptop model Q536FD running an ASUS Zenbook with an Intel i7 (8th gen) and a GTX1050 Nvidia graphics card. It comes with a 250 GB SSD, but I added more storage by installing a 1TB Samsung 970 EVO drive. I cloned the old SSD into the new one using AOMEI backupper, which worked perfectly before. This time I tried again, but the cloned drive kept looping during startup. After several attempts, I used Macrium Reflect to clone the drive, but it didn’t succeed. Since the cloned version isn’t working, I reinstalled the original SSD on my laptop. I double-checked that the partitions were correct, in the right order, and contained the same files as before. I also disabled secure boot to see if that resolved the issue. What should I do next?

Check the most recent updates for your laptop. After a fresh installation on the new SSD, does it start up normally?

I haven't performed a fresh setup yet, though I think the BIOS might be up-to-date. I should also verify that, but could it be the issue?

It would help determine whether the issue lies with the new SSD itself or with the clone.
