I just changed the thermal paste on my Asus ROG Strix G531gt. I made sure everything was connected before turning it off and putting it back together. I followed a good tutorial from a reliable source. After finishing, I tried to start it and nothing happened—I forced a restart with the power button, but the lights didn’t turn on at all, and nothing else came up.

Capture some shots of the laptop without the back cover on. This will help us check for any missing cables or issues. A single unplugged or partially connected cable might be the problem.

I recommend verifying the battery cable and confirming the back is fully secured (intrusion detection and similar checks)
