Recently, I chose to install a dual boot between Windows 11 and Kubuntu on my Framework 16 with the GPU module. After several days of smooth switching and custom setup, I selected Windows as my boot option. Initially, the boot screen appeared normal, but it was abruptly cut off by a completely black display. I found that the laptop still functioned in BIOS and Kubuntu after a hard reset. Additionally, the internal monitor wasn’t detected by Device Manager—only the external one showed up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! TL;dr: After dual booting, my Framework 16’s internal display stopped recognizing Windows inside, though everything else remained operational.
