Hello, welcome! I understand this form can be tricky. Last week you attempted to open your gaming laptop to replace the thermal paste but faced several issues. The standard screwdriver didn’t work, a rubber band method failed, and you even broke a screw while trying. You mentioned there aren’t many screwdrivers available in your country. Your laptop model is an ASUS TUF GAMING 2023 FA507NU. If you need advice on suitable screwdrivers, let me know!

Screws can sometimes stay firmly with certain lock-tite products and might even snap instead of loosening. Have you noticed your laptop overheating or slowing down? If not, it’s best to hold off on replacing the thermal paste. Regarding the screwdrivers, most screws are likely philips 00, 0, or 1. However, quality differences can affect performance, so a well-rounded set isn’t inexpensive.

The temperatures were poor after purchasing this laptop. I learned that applying high-quality thermal paste like mx6 can improve performance slightly. It's been about 1.5 years since I bought it, so replacement seems reasonable. Here’s the link to the screw picture you shared: https://imgur.com/a/bA67Y6z

Philips 1 or Philips 2 (size is unclear from the image). It offers some assistance, though it won’t solve everything. Given the poor thermal performance over the past fifteen years, cleaning the fan dust would be the best step.
