The laptop cooler fails to rotate without executing a fan check from the Asus software.
I rebuilt my dad's laptop and the cooling fan stops unless I launch the Asus fan diagnostic tool. Once it runs, the fans reach full speed, but the tool shows no issues. When I don’t run the diagnostic, the fans stay off at zero RPM. After about 10 minutes of normal use without fans spinning, the CPU temperature stays between 50-60°C. No original parts were changed; the thermal compound from Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is intact. No damage appears, but the fan doesn’t move during startup. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
