I assembled a PC about a year ago with a corn/Kinology GeForce RTX 3060 ti GPU. It has been functioning well for at least six months now, but the fan #0 has stopped working completely. It keeps attempting to start but fails repeatedly. After removing it, cleaning the case, and verifying all connections, I rolled back the driver. The card appears to be a Dell RTX 3060 ti, but GPU-Z shows Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 ti—wanting to avoid the wrong fans. Edited April 4, 2025 by deathinky Added picture

It seems the bearing is likely worn out and may be past its warranty.

This appears to be the accurate selection. You might want to reinforce the enclosure with zip-ties or a case fan for better cooling; it could also help maintain lower temperatures.

It performs poorly at higher speeds, often sounding like plastic sliding when trying to rev. I assumed it was my air compressor since the noise resembled water. I’m unsure if it originally came with a warranty. All items were purchased from Newegg. If the one-year warranty had expired, that would explain the issue.

It seems to match what you expect. Thanks. A quick point: Ali is known for being dependable? I’ve never purchased from it before.

sounds like a busted fan bearing, yea some GPU has 2 years warranty, u could check your specific model if it is under warranty, u could either send the whole gpu back or request a new fan (if the company is self-repair friendly) my EVGA gpu fan died and i simply requested for a new fan. and they sent me replacement parts. I doubt u can find the exact fan replacement brand new, so u could remove the fan and ziptie a case fan to it if all else fails

For inexpensive items like this (replacement fans, plastic, filters, etc.), I haven't faced many problems so far. I think I've dealt more issues with Amazon sellers than Aliexpress ones. They'd struggle to scam someone over a $10 fan. Just choose products and sellers with high ratings, and you should be okay.
