Hey everyone.
I was trying to remove an extra HDD from my PC and the SATA connector on the motherboard was stuck. I thought pulling it out hard would fix it. But the SATA port came clean, leaving only 4 pins on the motherboard. My PC is fine, but after booting up I noticed the keyboard is very slow and sometimes doesn’t register input or gets stuck on a key and repeats it unnecessarily.
I used the keyboard with my laptop, which works perfectly.
My mouse is functioning properly on the PC too.
I’m looking for help with this issue.
H510 motherboard.

Do you have a wireless keyboard to test and another USB wired one available?

It was an HDD from a very old computer and I moved images and videos from it. I'm not sure, but it might have been infected with malware.

I received a wireless keyboard with a USB receiver and it appears to fix the issue, functioning properly. I haven't tried it with a wired USB one yet.
