TRY USING DIFFERENT KEYBOARD SETTINGS OR CONFIGURATIONS. MAKE SURE THE LAPTOP TYPE OF KEYBOARD IS ACTIVE. IF PROBLEMS PERSIST, CHECK FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES.

Do you own a cat? Was the display kept on? It’s possible she climbed onto it and damaged something near the key. If you can take off the key cover, check another key for signs of wear. Most likely, if one is broken, others will be too.
