The keyboard fails to turn on.
I've experienced this unusual keyboard issue for some time. When I completely disconnect the power from the computer—such as by unplugging the PSU or the power outlet—I notice the keyboard stops working when I restart the system. Right now, I have to remove and reinsert the USB keyboard cables each time. Turning off the computer normally doesn't trigger this problem, nor does it happen with the mouse that remains plugged in near the keyboard in the two USB 3.0 ports at the back. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If your keyboard uses a hub or passes through for other USB devices, avoid using them and connect your peripherals via the motherboard's rear I/O panel USB ports. If your power supply has been in use for some time, note its age. What BIOS version is installed on your motherboard?
