You’d likely need to navigate through the BIOS and pick the USB drive as the boot source. It’s unusual to find a device with an option to select the installation medium. Don’t forget to revert the setting after installation so it boots from the main drive or SSD.

9 or 10, as I recall. You can immediately adjust the boot priority when you press that key.

They need to type in the boot menu during the posting process. It seems to be F8 or F11. The warning is noticeable and provides ample time thanks to the very slow posting speed.
