I lack a high-end or gaming setup. When I launch games in Android emulators (BlueStacks) or switch tasks while Doom 3 runs, my system feels sluggish. Everything seems delayed and unresponsive. I’m unsure what’s really affecting it. My laptop uses a CPU that throttles but still operates around 2.5–3 GHz with high usage (50–70%). The GPU is either at full capacity during games or drops to 50% or less in emulation. I have a Gen 3 SSD and single-channel DDR4 RAM.
Single channel shouldn't influence responsiveness, right? Changes in RAM performance directly show CPU performance changes. It's similar to upgrading your CPU with the same RAM—you should notice a boost. Or just like a quick CPU paired with slow RAM results in a slower overall experience. Or is that correct?
