Hello, I own an HP Pavillion 510-p134nl, a desktop PC, and have been experiencing serious issues lately. My computer doesn’t have navigation problems on the internet; it’s not due to my connection speed, even though it usually lags around 30-40 ms on Discord. It can handle online gaming fine. Initially, I played Overwatch 2 via Discord and noticed ping spikes reaching 5k, which would crash the client while the game kept running or disconnect me from the server. Eventually, the issue stabilized enough for me to play online on Discord as well. This problem occurred not only in Overwatch 2 but also in Cities Skylines, Saint’s Row 4 during co-op, and Euro Truck Sim 2—where it would disconnect me from my friend’s server but not from Discord, which they could hear clearly and reconnect after some time. I’m unsure what to do and would appreciate any advice. Thank you in advance for your help.

It appears the problem could be connected to Discord. Have you attempted using Discord in a closed environment? -edit- Additionally, consider updating your BIOS as well.

I attempted to run the game alone, but it didn't respond and then crashed.

Do you have additional gadgets available for testing your Wi-Fi consistency? There are ping applications accessible in the Apple App Store and Play Store. I’d execute a ping command using 8.8.8.8 -t from another device via CMD to observe whether the network speed decline occurs on your PC or not. Our goal is simply to eliminate any issues with your router.

I checked https://ping.canbeuseful.com/en#ping while testing the game on another machine. It caused crashes several times, and I noticed the first chart shows missing crash timestamps. When I looked at another screen, the ping stayed similar to normal. The second chart is from a Discord test where I didn’t try to join the game.
