Hi guys.
I just set up a new PC. Upgraded from my 10700k.
Now I have an R9 9950x with the same GPU as my old PC — RTX4070ti, 12gb, 32gb DDR5 RAM.
I kept the same settings in RDR2, and it’s strange because with the 10700k I was around 100 fps. Now with the 9950x I’m getting about 93 average. I reduced my refresh rate in games from 165 to 120, and that brought me up to 107 fps.
What’s going on so the 9950x feels so slow compared to the old one?

Have you set up the AMD chipset driver? The game's all threads shouldn't be executed in two CCDs; after installation, you'll notice CCD1 is inactive during gameplay.

I believe I did it, I just assembled a brand new PC and installed Windows 11 – the clean install wasn’t easy. All components are fresh. The Asus drive has the driver for AMD version 7.01.08.129. As of January 10, 2025.
