Hello, I encountered an auto update cycle that kept triggering errors on the blue troubleshooting screen. I was planning a complete Windows 11 reinstall, had the USB connected, set boot priority to USB, but it still reported an update attempt instead of a clean install. After some adjustments and reconnecting, I noticed the SSD I use for extra storage was disconnected, which allowed the system to boot normally while keeping my profile intact. I’m curious if others have faced similar issues and what steps might be necessary next, possibly replacing the SSD. Thank you for your assistance.

It seems your storage device experienced a faulty bootloader and attempted to start up.

Gotcha, do you think I'll be able to wipe it and put it back in or just replace it when I need more space? I don't really need it now, I just added it to my build because I had it laying around. Also, do you think it would have affected anything else or would it probably be contained to the HD. Sorry for all of the questions, I'm super new to all of this and not really sure how else to learn.

If it's outdated, it likely uses the MBR format. Clearing all partitions and switching to GPT should help restore it.
