Updated my motherboard from an older msi570 and swapped it out as per the specifications. After setting everything up, I pressed the power button, but the monitor didn’t display anything. The motherboard LED lit up with a debug code of 06. I went through all the connections—everything seemed fine. The GPU fans should start spinning during power-up, and there’s power visible on the M.2 logo on the card, the memory sticks, and the motherboard itself. All eight fans, including the AIO, are functioning properly. The AIO temperature display shows 26 degrees Fahrenheit.

My system configuration includes:
- MSI MEGo M460 X570 Carbon Max WiFi
- AMD Ryzen 5900X
- 2 x 8GB DDR4 3600 TRIDENT Z New Gen SKILL CL18 22 22 42
- Nzxt 240mm Kraken AIO Z53
- Nzxt c850 PSU
- M.2 SSD (Samsung EVO 1TB), WD 2TB SATA SSD
- MSI Radeon 6700X GPU with 12GB on a Nzxt GPU vertical bracket
- Two MSI curved 24" monitors, connected via DP cables
- All housed in the Nzxt H9 Elite dual chamber case

There’s no overheating concern; otherwise it would shut down. I believe the graphics card is dead (purchased in 2020), but the fans still spin when I press the power button to shut down, after which they stop. Honestly, it’s a nightmare.

updated the BIOS via the Flash BIOS button with the unzipped BIOS file on a USB pen drive
did you ensure all power connectors were connected to both the system and the PSU?
the PSU features 3 ATX ports for connecting the motherboard

As helpstar mentioned, it seems a BIOS update might be necessary. Some motherboards, particularly stock ones that have been on shelves for years, still need a BIOS update to run the 5000 series CPUs. It’s unclear if they’re marked as ready for the 5000 series. Also, switching boards is recommended to perform a fresh Windows installation.

I followed every step by the written instructions, double verified the MSI website guidance, and completed the entire process. Just performing a full reinstall of Windows 10, thank you all.

Hello everyone, here’s what I did
I powered off the PC, installed the BIOS update onto a pen disk, inserted it into the USB label flashing BIOS, turned on the PC, pressed the flash button, the LED lit up, then it completed. After that, I removed the pen disk and reset the PC, finally getting it into the BIOS and everything is working smoothly now.
