I checked my main PC's GPU and it’s not showing any output. It seems the PCIe slot might be faulty, though there’s no visible damage. I’m trying to confirm before proceeding with a return.

My system also experienced similar issues. It could have been a motherboard problem, but after some time it resolved. It might actually stem from a faulty HDMI or DP cable. The anomalies appeared to disappear shortly after switching to a different cable. Perhaps it was just a minor inconvenience.

That makes perfect sense. In this case it's looking like an RMA deal and you did cover all the bases - That helps with things when they start asking about it, you'll have whatever answers they need and can go from there. That's what I'd do next - Request an RMA and see what happens since you've nothing to lose at this point.

Tested two various HDMI cables. Also used a VGA to HDMI adapter, but still no success. Had to ask a friend for something with built-in graphics to try and get a display working. Finally, I had to file an RMA, which took a lot of my time.

Sure, I'll take a look at borrowing something with built-in graphics from a friend to check if I can get a display out of it.
