Despite my processor and graphics card not reaching maximum capacity, I am experiencing difficulty in achieving a higher frame rate. My temperatures are normal, and I believe my power supply unit is functioning correctly. The only potential factor I can identify involves utilizing a hard disk drive, though the games I’m playing don't require extensive data access. Furthermore, I have disabled all power-saving settings. My frame rate isn’t exceptionally low, yet I am puzzled as to the cause of my reduced performance.

I examined the general performance, but it appears that none of the processing units operated at their highest capacity. I intend to verify this further.

You might overclock your 1080. Consider increasing the core clock by 100 MHz and the memory clock by 250 MHz. Your graphics card should certainly handle that level of adjustment. Increment the clock speeds by 10 MHz increments, carefully monitoring for any instability. A modest overclock should yield a noticeable improvement in frames per second. At what resolution would you see this benefit?
I attempted to overclock my graphics card, but it produced no results, and regarding the processor, I’m hesitant to push it further as it's currently running at a 4.3 GHz turbo boost. My display resolution is 1920x1080, and reducing it to 640x480 didn't significantly improve my frame rate.
