I recently swapped out my power supply unit (completely replacing it with a Corsair) and the central processing unit and graphics card maintain acceptable temperatures. I’ve thoroughly cleaned my system (reinstalling the operating system) and am at a loss for solutions. My hardware specifications are:
ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming motherboard
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 TI with 6 GB of memory
Seagate IronWolf Pro 2TB hard drive (7200 RPM)
Intel Core i7-9700K with 8 cores
Seasonic FOCUS Plus Series SSR-750FX, 750W, 80+ Gold PSU
G.Skill TridentZ
Noctua NH-D15 SSO2 D-Type Premium CPU Cooler
(Apologies for any errors or disruptions – this is my initial post)
It’s important to note that I can often play games for extended periods, but they frequently freeze at the menu screen. For instance, titles such as *Subnautica*, *Skyrim Special Edition,* and *Hellion* demonstrate this issue.
EDIT: I neglected to mention that I have updated the drivers.
I would gladly do so, however I don't currently have any alternatives available. Are there any options that are inexpensive yet functional?
