Hello everyone,

I assembled my computer approximately a year ago, and its specifications are:

Intel Core i7-8700
Asus TUF Gaming H370 Pro motherboard
16GB Corsair memory
Samsung 970 Evo 250GB solid-state drive
2TB Seagate Barracuda hard drive
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card

My games – including Call of Duty: World War II, Battlefield V, Metro Exodus, Counter-Strike Global Offensive, and Grand Theft Auto V – frequently freeze during gameplay. I often hear audio but the display becomes unresponsive and frozen. Occasionally, the game simply closes to my desktop. This issue consistently occurs after approximately one minute of playing, almost every time I launch the game.

I recently updated my video card drivers. Could you please advise me on how to resolve this, as I am becoming increasingly concerned about what steps to take.

Thank you very much.

Examine the Task Manager to determine if any hidden processes are consuming excessive system performance. Utilize Malwarebytes for a comprehensive malware scan. Monitor your computer’s central processing unit (CPU) and graphics processing unit (GPU) temperatures during gameplay or while conducting stress tests.
