Hey there, tech enthusiasts! I'm running Windows 10 for about four days now. It's mostly functioning well, but there are some unexpected downloads and uploads happening constantly—especially when I play Battlefield 3. My CPU hasn't been an issue before, but suddenly it's running at almost full capacity during those games.

The Runtime Broker is creating serious issues in this environment. Someone should clarify its true nature.

I5-4670, check your signature. Unparked cores are those that aren't currently stopped but are ready to run.

It doesn't really impact gaming performance, so worry only if you notice minor slowdowns. Run a virus and malware scan. Also, this site is very useful and offers a solid guide for removing unnecessary features on Windows 8.1, which also applies to Windows 10. http://www.askvg.com/master-tutorial-to-...uper-fast/

Thanks for checking out the site. I already found a fix—just stopped the "Runtime Broker" job. Now my CPU is back to normal, around 10% usage again. It seems like that specific task from Microsoft is causing the issue. I’m curious about ways to prevent it next time.

I have a workaround for the runtime broker issue. It was really frustrating. I had a 4.4 GHz i7 and was running at around 35% CPU while idle. After searching online, I found a setting called "show me tips about windows" that I disabled. Everything returned to normal!
